Thank you very much Triple_B for doing this. There will also be around quantity 24 Demon 170 Jailbreak cars that are custom paint color. The VON's of those cars now show code "YHF" for "Specialty Paint Program". They will all be painted Black at the factory before going to the Prefix/Penske for custom paint. Not sure you'll know the color for each of these though, the VON doesn't specify it - although I currently know about 9 of the 20+ so far.

Not yet, I report those every evening as well. Just an FYI: That is also the second number in each column of my chart. BS / WS. So when they do start getting Window Stickers and shipping you will see Built / Shipped numbers

So looking at todays chart, 2 / 0 means they built 2 and shipped 0 (Window Stickers arent released until the evening so I update the charts twice a day)

Then for the year to date they have built 64 and shipped 0.
I know the charts are a bit crowded but this is about the best I could come up with to show so much information in a single post.

all good, and thank you again I've been patiently waiting for anyone's WS to show up :)

I got my window sticker when i got the vin on the tracker. Do you get a different one when completed? Also tracker still does not show car completed. When into production 7-18. Thanks again.
Strange, usually get VIN weeks/months before the car is actually built. I've had VIN for my 170 since May on tracker but no window sticker yet (and wasn't expecting window sticker until day after it is built). I ordered a 2023 Charger Redeye and build sheet didn't show up on tracker until it was built and shipped.

Yee Haw - Just got text from the dealer - my VIN Match 170 is in Paint this morning.
And I guess I can also let it out that I got very lucky and my 170 is one of the Demon 170 Jailbreaks. Now it will go to Penske for repaint before going to the dealer for delivery to me.

Thats interesting, your order still shows to be B5 Blue which means that not all of the custom colored cars will be reported as Black from the factory like had been mentioned/assumed up to now. Curious to see your Build Sheet when it hits to see if it also shows B5 Blue or if it will list Black.
Interesting, yes I'll be very curious also - I was told they will all be painted black as well

Todd Kerr on FB just messaged me that he sees my color as Black - so I'm assuming BS will show black - we shall see very soon :)
p.s. Is it normal that no WS have showed up yet for the 100+ cars built or am I missing something?

So wait your car is painted at the factory and then goes to Penske for repaint? How does all that work? If I am not mistaken Plumb Crazy is a heritage color so if the factory offers a hertiage color as a production color it should not have to be sent out anywhere correct?
Yes it is painted black at factotry and goes to Penske and taken apart, body work done, and repainted. The Plum Crazy Heritage color is not the same Plum Crazy of today, it is the original Plum Crazy flat with no Pearl added so not the same as the other plum crazy cars and will be a one of one in 1970 plum crazy

Ah okay now it makes sense. Gee I sure hope for the guys that paid big money for the Jailbreak Heritage colors it all goes well for them but I can see pitfalls happening and for this reason alone even if I were selected I would not do it. This car from the day of the launch to trying to secure an allocation to the ADM was nothing but stressful to say the least and I ordered a relative easy build to assure I had the best chance of actually getting it. Now throwing in the Penske paint job to me is just more chance of problems. We know Penske is not stripping these cars down to the metal, they are probably using the black as a base coat. I can hear stories now in the future about potential paint issues, dirt in the paint, coverage issues, ect. I just cant see how you can beat a factory baked on finish.
I was bit worried at first - but once you see samples of their show paint work and the equipment and the cars they build that people don't know about - I felt pretty good :)
And let's be honest the Dodge factory paint systems/results ain't always exactly great - Brampton has needed updated paint equip for a long, long, time.

Valid concerns right there. But they are going to do 24 of them or more and I bet they are set up to do it right. I also can see them leaving the hood scoop. emblems, deck lid spoiler, mirrors and rear fender flares off and just tossing them in the trunk on the assembly line. Maybe not. But then, something like the rear declid spoiler will be discarded and a new one out of the box will be installed after the paint job. That way it will be come out of the box prepped with all the new adhesives etc.....
yes correct, the cars are prepped different at the factory as well. Not sure on everything, but for example none of the emblems go on the car at the factory for the Jailbreaks, they are all put on after repaint at Penske, etc...

NONE of that in a "Show Quality" Paint Job. Actuallly the baked on factory Pitch Black paint is likely one of the BEST bases for a Show Quality paint job with the least amount of potential issues. It will give them an excellent base to level out the body panels and will show all the high and low spots when they start block sanding etc.
I have ZERO concerns about the quality of the paint I will be getting........ZERO.
Yip - I saw in person a couple other cars Penske did - and I must say they were absolutely stunning in quality of show paint and body work/panel alignment they delivered...

No Window Stickers again tonight, but another group of members made it to FRAME today!

Thank you as always for the info and work you do and congrats to everyone in frame - No idea how long it will take for repaint at Penske and doubt my eta is correct - but so happy it’s getting built and every day is one day closer to delivery :)

So wait did Brampton get a time machine to go back in time like in Back To The Future? 😂
I saw that typo too :) although to be fair he is correct as there weren't Any Demon 170's in Purple on January 1st 2023 - so plum wasn't 40% of production. However, I also think he will be correct and in the end Black will probably be the most popular color - this is last call and there will be a lot more sublime and plum for sure, but black will still "probably" win overall. I highly doubt any single color will be 40% when final numbers are known in January 2024.
