Disclaimer (June 1, 2024): I knew not many people fell for this article. I WAITED UNTIL HELLCAT PRODUCTION ENDED TO TELL THE TRUTH! It was a satire piece to make Hellcat fans rejoice. I was too lazy to specify the transmission choice, and I know the spelling of "December" in Italian is incorrect in this piece, but it was supposed to be an 8-speed auto Hellcat. Unfortunately, even Redeyes and Demons aren't this fast.

My friend, who lives in West Italy, showed me (in a personal email) how the Dodge Challenger Hellcat (and the exotics) performed in Quattroruote's recent issue. After 200 km/h the Hellcat jumped by and beat a Ferrari F12 tdf and a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce (LP750-4 SV).

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 10.9 sec

0-300 km/h

Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV: 24.7 sec
Ferrari 488 GTB: 31.6 sec
Porsche 911 Turbo S: 29.9 sec
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 22.9 sec

As you can see (from the numbers), the Hellcat had a pretty bad start probably due to rear-drive traction with the weight going into the front with seating for 5. Despite, it beats pretty much everything (except the three hybrid hypercars we know of) to 300 km/h.

Can anybody explain what happened with the 911's numbers above 100km 0-200km in under 10 sec.... Its like it ran outa gas.... I guess the ratios are so close 1-4.... It toped out at 194... So 0-150 in 9 seconds then another 20 seconds to go another 40 mph.... Something is weird....and i think 0-80 mph in 2.7 is brak your neck fast... Knock u out when your head hit the head rest fast.... How is that even possible... I dont think i believe it... I wanna see video:))

I forgot to mention the top speeds tested at the Nardo Ring.

F12 TdF: 343.8 km/h (213.6 mph)
LP750 SV: 355.5 km/h (220.9 mph)
F488 GTB: 331.9 km/h (206.2 mph)
911 Turbo S: 312.2 km/h (194.0 mph)
Chally Hellcat: 345.0 km/h (214.4 mph)

The Hellcat is barely faster than the more powerful and track-oriented TdF and much faster than a Turbo S.
