I haven’t heard a whole lot about it, only know a few guys running it, one doing ok in Florida, others not so good.

I have a 2.4 blower lid, cooling bricks and cooling brick hold downs if anyone interested make one needs them for a Kong swap let me know. Includes the red silicon brick isolator/holders too.

But yeah, not uncommon for a lot of places to private label parts. Where do you think their 170 driveshafts come from? Wiles, tba, (forget the company of their chillier), and now the lid. Nothing not normal about that.

I just started a thread on my install. I had an SDG set up previously and just switched to the Kong. I'll be posting my install and testing on it with an unbiased opinion.

I guess everyone forgets the magnuson 2650 vengeance. It’s only downside was that it was rear drive

 

The Maggie inlet & case design could have better for the 2650 rotors also. Kong looks like they got it right.

 

 

2650 doing what the 2650 does. Pulls hard like a set of turbos on the top end. Welcome to the game hellcats - LT4's been enjoying this rotor design for years.

Did you see the new ripa lid? I like it a lot. Not worth it unless buying it to use for this though. And then you’re way over what you should spend on one of these. Idk, price just isn’t there when you could get a whipple in my opinion

 

I have not. I haven't heard great things about his business so I've steered clear of them. I really have considered buying all the upgrades that are offered for the IHI blower and seeing how far that will take me. The lid, the pwr bricks, etc.

 

I think it would look ugly with stock lid. Would look good with ripa’s new billet honeycomb lid I think

I have 1 set of cooling bricks left yet, they come with the hold down bars and their bolts and the red silicon seals/holders that go on each end. Clean and pressure tested. $450 plus shipping.
