I wanted the Rally Stripes on mine but I found a car local with a Satin Hood. I get a lot of compliments on it but I still like the stripes better.

 

I would wrap the hood. Chargers with satin hood look sinister. Maybe toekneethetiger could share some pics of his beautiful car.

PS: My yellow Charger has the factory stripes.

 

Although I think the strips look good, they just remind me too much of what GM did. I think new Mopars with black hoods are more true to their roots.

 

I have to agree. Black hoods are definitely a Mopar Muscle Car Look.

I saw a Destroyer grey yesterday just like yours with all 3 satin black. Looks great!

I like your style!

 

The black hood just makes the Challenger look downright "beastly" or sinister as mentioned above. I love both looks, so I ordered my new Durango in the same color as the Hellcat, but with stripes.

You need to look at a lot of pics and decide what you like the best

 

I have the stripes & wish I had the hood instead.

Stripes make waxing a PITA and pretty much eliminate the option of doing any other sort of graphic on the car (would be too busy).

 

I think the stripes make the car look sportier and more of a classic muscle car. The satin hood leans towards a drag car and a more “modern” look.

 

Both are great options!

I like the look of the satin hood, but I currently have the stripes.

Nothing yet because responsibilities got the best of me these past couple of months. With that said, black hood got my vote, just gotta find some motivations first lol

I love my satin hood.....but it's a pain in the a## to take care of. I bought the kit from Dr. Beasley and it's great but still can't run it through a touchless car wash.

 

The hood is being wrapped as I'm typing, pics coming soon!
