2018 Demons have the lighted airbag cover.

Dealerships....
I do my own oil changes on my Demon. But for my Grand Cherokee, I'll have the dealership perform them.

After years of having my wheels gouged by impact wrenches on previous vehicles, I will no longer allow techs to rotate my tires with the Grand Cherokee oil change. The service write up guy always looks at me weird when I tell him "Don't rotate the tires." He then asks why. I tell him nicely that I do that myself to avoid chips and scratches on the wheels. He says, "Well, I can't avoid accidents that happen." I replied, Precisely why I do it myself - carefully.

It's a shame today that service is all about wham bam thank you ma'am, get it in, get it done, get it out! Most of these places are understaffed for cost reasons, and don't pay people enough to take their time and give a darn about what they do. It's a shame some dealers aren't focusing on the SRT customers as special clientele. They should. Some do, like my local dealer, and I'll go to them. Others not - so I avoid those places.

I don't even want to get started on why nobody uses a fender cover anymore to prevent chips and scratches.

FUC*&^ Sad that a dealer can't even change the oil properly with a manual online and in the shop with one in glove box that would tell them Hellcats have a oil cooler. You would think anyone who works in Dodge dealer would know Hellcats are not the run of the Mill muscle cars.

Sorry for that experience "X" just plain scary and far too frequent all over the country. I had good success from SRT when i first got my car and the wheel well tubs had large gaps from poor assembly. All was taekn care of immediately. For me up here North of Boston, it feels like no dealerhsips actually ahve certified mechanics working on expensive cars and if they do its 1 vs 10 trainees. OEM manufacturers need to do a better job making sure dealerships can and do perform quality service. after all the end blame is the OEM and people go to another brand.

How cool would it be if some dealers had SRT-specific service centers attached.

Same here. I have a good friend that has a performance shop so he takes good care of the my vehicles. If it's a warranty issue guess I'd tow it to the dealership. Beyond that I just don't want anyone working on my cars. Scratches dents dings broken crap no thank you. I'll pass and pay the piper.

My question too. Seems it's in all the Challengers but I have a charger. Can't say it's ever worked but idk if it's supposed to work. Was thinking it might??? be on the window sticker? Or do I need to pull it apart and check the part number on the airbag...
It’s not. It’s not in 2015s, possibly not 16s. Forget the year they started it
