As the title states, curious if anyone else has ordered Gun Metal Grey like I did? It seem as if most people if they opted for a different color went Black or with some Orange showing up, but has anyone else gone Grey?
Not to change the subject but while checking out all the pictures on this thread of the different colored calipers I noticed everyone still had the stock chrome lug nuts. Has anyone changed them out and went with black or another color? I searched but could not find any thread about this on the RE wheels.
Ya know, everyone was giving the black units bad comments for lack of gloss. There could be a hidden benefit. My blacks wiped off easy and look fine after a fairly aggressive day with the DP rotors and DTC-70's.You can tell who tracks their car (eventually) by the color of their calipers. All eventually end up a brownish hue of the original color due to heat.
Fast forward 3-4 months and they are probably the best looking of all the available colors given the ability to hide what’s sure to be a lot more discoloration.Ya know, everyone was giving the black units bad comments for lack of gloss. I hated the other color. Also it you look at those wrong, the paint chips. The black seems much more durable. Done a pad change and a complete rotor on and back off and Brembo back and I am still batting 100% no chips yet!Fast forward 3-4 months and they are probably the best looking of all the available colors given the ability to hide what’s sure to be a lot more discoloration.
