For the guys in the know. What is all involved in bolting both stick and auto hellcat trans to a big block mopar? And it actually work
I know the auto is size wize a lot bigger then the ol 727
But im thinking more latley of putting one behind a big block in my cuda. Leaning more toward the m6.
So do any of you know for fact the technical point of making it work?

I dont want a stout m6. I want something that has a chance of standing up to 1000 + hp (motor not rear wheel) and I really like the m6 in our cat
If that thing can stand up to the hp and 4500 pounds that out cats have. Then it should be ok for a 1000 hp 3000/3500 pound older muscle

I am certainly not an expert, however my BF talks to the main Mopar HP guru and I really think the trans and clutch is a weak link in our cars and I am not sure you will get the performance you want with that much HP. I am glad you are checking with some Mopar guys on this, I bet they will have something better for you. Don't get me wrong, I still love my car, but I'm not racing it and if I started modding and adding HP, the trans and clutch are probably one of the first things I would consider replacing or improving upon, if I were going to add HP.

Until they make a crate version with it's own computer won't be worth the time and money to use an A8. Better to get a 6L80E and a adapter or Ultrabell if you want a 6 spd overdrive.
