I felt the Demon deserved a thread separate from my other Hellcat Challenger Production thread so here it is!

ITS STARTED! The first production Demon 170 down the line at Brampton was a Plum Crazy with Black Alcantara/Laguna interior, Demonic Red seatbelts, Satin Black Hood, Aluminum forged wheels going to Virginia!

If any member with a 170 order wants to be tagged in my daily update posts you can submit your details here

Hi Everyone,

I received a call from my dealer a short time ago and my 170 left the Belvidere, IL facility at 2:00pm today. My car is finally enroute to Texas and should get here in 3 to 4 days (weather dependent).

Also, I asked my dealer to ensure the window sticker was in the car, along with the build sheet. He indicated that they never touch the window stickers and they all come attached to the window. He also said, they have never had one show up without the buildsheet, nor the windows sticker. Mine will be the 6th allocation to come in to my dealer. He knows I am not a flipper or resaler, and that these documents are very important to me. I should have my car within a week and will post pictures of how it was received.

This Demon 170 is the car I have worked very hard for, waited my entire life for, and it is now on its way. A special day is coming for me and I am truly looking forward to sharing it with my family, and also all of you. 👍 💥 😁

Didn't mean to get all sentimental, but it truly is how I feel. 😉

That is great! These will be the longest 3-4 days oc your life waiting on it! And being in Texas u should be able to drive it sooner than others that are in worse weather areas of the country. Congratulations again - no doubt everybody on this forum will be proud for u - post those pics!

Personally this thread is a daily visit for most of the year, as I awaited the build of my car as I’m hopeful of taking delivery in February. Seeing all the deliveries photos and stories helped pass the time as I had my doubts Dodge would get it done especially with the strike. Triple B‘s updates kept me going, the statistics on the top chart I find fascinating, can’t imagine the time dedicated to the forum(s) but I’ve really enjoyed this thread.… Thank you

Like many, I have things to be upset about, dealers gouging, Dodge raising costs, allocation process you name it. Kinda rough ride personally both financially with ADMs stressing over build as my car finished the last week with only days to spare. But with the chaos I realize this is not your typical car, nor your typical car buying process. With mixed feelings I still have to hand it to Dodge, plant employees, SRT team and Tim K for pulling off 3300 cars. Worlds fastest muscle car a solid 9 second ride (ICE) you can pull the front tires and daily drive if you wish. Some members in high 8’s with new record around the corner is amazing to me.

Nothing in life that is worth while comes easy, nor has this D170 for me personally I’m just happy to know it’s eventually coming. We are living the greatest muscle car era in history. Don’t forget to stop and smell the octane 😂

Hello forum. Thanks again for such an excellent web site for owners of these magnificent Dodge cars. Cudos to Triple B for his documentation efforts.

My Demon was finally delivered Sunday. I drove the beauty home Monday. Was worth the nine month effort of selling almost everything I own to put a decent down payment so I could get a loan approved. I wonder how many of these beasts were ordered rear seat and passenger seat delete cars like mine? A no frills car with one option…red seat belts. Time for the 500 mile break-in.

That’s a car to be proud of for generations to come. Congratulations! Show those time slips when u run it!

My Demon arrived, filthy but undamaged, this afternoon. I had Montway ship it from the dealer to me via enclosed transport. I took it easy on the seven mile drive home due to the wet roads, but it’s clear that this car commands respect from the driver.

It also has noticeably more road noise than my SRT392 or Hellcat (yeah, they are B5 as well). I’m looking forward to getting her to the track this spring!

Team,

I was driving between Toronto and Windsor today on the 401 and I came upon eight DEMONs on the way to some or all of you. Brampton is a suburb of Toronto.

I have an original DEMON and I note that they are still shipping with (I believe) "blue" Spider Monkey wheels to the upfitter as they did with the original DEMONs (drag radials don't fit the assembly line).

I'm hoping one of your cars is on this transporter.

If only that truck we’re heading to Georgia! This possible strike is making me nervous - half was there more or less - don’t stop now!

The day has finally come. I’m going tomorrow to pick mine up with my enclosed trailer; weather permitting. It’s currently snowing here and I have a 5 hour drive from AZ to New Mexico. My Dealer and Salesperson have actually been great to work with. I asked them to not WASH, remove plastic or anything else. Here’s a pic of it patiently waiting for me!

This is a bit overdue, as I my car arrived at the dealer Sunday and I processed the deal Monday, but it's been a crazy week (was out of town Tues-Thurs). Anyway, a long time coming as we all know, but want to tell those still waiting to...well, keep waiting and try to be patient. The cars are amazing...when they finally show up. Interesting to note my car arrived in Orange County with another Plum Crazy 170. Clearly Reliable was waiting until they could get at least two on a single truck to justify the trip out here (I'm sure more were also on the truck and dropped off along the way). My car arrived dirty but damage free...however, the other car had a note taped to it stating damage had occurred during transportation (to the hood and some other area...can't remember). Mine went right onto a flatbed and is now at my PPF shop. Should be done next week...so the waiting continues for me.

WOW holy crap Batman dealer called today and told me my car is built in JB status at the upfitter getting wheels and tires put on and it should arrive at the dealer by the end of the month.

I must admit this whole entire process was nothing but mega extreme stress especially when I had the balls to sell my car first in hopes of getting a 170 even built. Sometimes things do work out. Thank you Jesus!
