Metco crankcase breather

So I’m real confused as to why ever since I’ve added the Metco crankcase breather my oil consumption has stop ! I would use about a quart every 5,000 miles and was at the point of acceptance of this amount of usage at 21,000 miles on my 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat M6 . I suspect I was getting a lot of crankcase pressure and it was causing blow by somewhere ! My HC has a catch can on the passenger side which I added way before the crankcase breather and did nothing to help oil consumption and would catch a couple of ounces between oil changes . These are the only mods it’s stock besides these two items ! what’s everybody’s thoughts on this !

The filter itself comes off pretty easy but the screw on portion seams pretty well seated. At least on my setup

The breather element snaps into the breather base, and is intended to resist the pressure that accumulates beneath it. To remove the element, cock it to the side, and it will come off easily. If you pull straight up to remove the element, this action will eventually wear the base of the element and it will no longer fit tightly.
